I finally have a moment to get some pictures up from our trip to Pensacola. There are a few from just around town and then some from the beach. Max loved getting in the water on the sound, but wasn't to sure about the waves on the gulf. He did however LOVE to throw sand..... We really had a lot of fun, and my mom took some pictrures of Max and I, so if I am in the picture she took it.

More Cheyenne
Cheyenne
Who: Cheyenne (17)
Where: University of West Florida
While Max and I were visiting Pensacola I took a lot of photographs! So, in the next few blogs I will be posting them. Cheyenne is my youngest and tallest brother. He will be a Senior next school year and will be going through the college selection process. I took a few shot of him playing basketball for his Senior year. It's not very often that I get to take pictures of my brothers, even though one of them lives so close to me, they aren't big fans of the camera. At the end of our shoot at the gym a few little boys walked in to watch Cheyenne like he was a basketball star. So, my dad and I decided that next time we're going to find some kids to watch because Chey is much better under pressure.

ORSCA Racing
Who: Who's Your Daddy Racing
Where: Atlanta Dragway, Comerce GA
When: Saturday May 17,2008
The driver of this yellow mustang is a good friend of Matt's. So we went to see him race on Saturday. Actually most of the crew went to High School with Matt. We had a wonderful day visiting with old friends and eating awesome food, and of course taking pictures. Enjoy.

T-ball
Who: Curt
Where: Buford City Park
For any of you out there reading that hasn't seen a four year old play T-ball in the past 15 year I would strongly recommend it. It might possibly be one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Max's babysitter and good friend of mine is the proud mother of the little ham. Curt and Max are definitly going to keep us busy(as if they don't already). The boys have so much fun together! Here are a few shots from the game.

Drift Race
What: Drift Race
Where: Road Atlanta
When: May 10, 2008
Matt, Max and I got some tickets to a drift race at Road Atlanta from a friend. So, we decided that we would go check it out since we have never seen it before. We were both a little apprehensive about it to start with. And if you know Matt you know he is a big Ford buff, and most of these cars were imports. We got there with basically ZERO knowledge about the sport, but thanks to some friends who were also there we got a lesson in drifting 101. Basically the cars come flying down a hill in and try to slide their cars sideways around the turns. You get points on how close you get your front bumper to three points called clipping points. You also get points on how you keep your speed up through the turns also. But you can loose points if you get one tire of the track. If you get two tires off you are disqualified, and if you spin out you are also disqualified. I'm sure there's a lot more to it, but that's the best I can do. Here are some pictures I snapped from the day.

Mens Softball
Who: Matt's softball team
Where: Best Friend Park
I've photographed these guys playing ball about 6 times this season, and gotten some really great shots. Sports photography is not my specialty, but I have enjoyed the challenge that this poses. As you can see in some of the shots I am photographing through a chain link fence, and that proves to be difficult to focus. But all in all it has made my Mondays much more enjoyable. And I'm glad I got the oppurtunity to do it. They have definitly been some of my most eager subjects! Thanks for the learning experience boys. Enjoy.

Matt, it was Cinco de Mayo, but the umpire didn't appreciate Matt's festive spirit.
