Matt, Max and I got some tickets to a drift race at Road Atlanta from a friend. So, we decided that we would go check it out since we have never seen it before. We were both a little apprehensive about it to start with. And if you know Matt you know he is a big Ford buff, and most of these cars were imports. We got there with basically ZERO knowledge about the sport, but thanks to some friends who were also there we got a lesson in drifting 101. Basically the cars come flying down a hill in and try to slide their cars sideways around the turns. You get points on how close you get your front bumper to three points called clipping points. You also get points on how you keep your speed up through the turns also. But you can loose points if you get one tire of the track. If you get two tires off you are disqualified, and if you spin out you are also disqualified. I'm sure there's a lot more to it, but that's the best I can do.
